Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Scope

① The product's performance fails due to material, process, or manufacturing problems under normal use and maintenance conditions. During the warranty period, our company provides warranty services such as repair, replacement, or return.

“Normal use and maintenance conditions” means that the installation, use, maintenance, storage, transportation, etc. of the product meet the requirements of the instructions for use and are used for a reasonable intended purpose.
“Affecting normal use” means that the product cannot achieve the functions described in its standard performance parameters.

② Except as stated in advance or in accordance with the law or agreement, no additional fees will be charged for maintenance services within the scope of the warranty.
Note: The courier fee is not borne by Jooan, except as stated or promised in advance.


2. Warranty Period

① The warranty period of products and components is subject to the agreement in the contract. If the contract does not specify the warranty period, the product warranty period shall be calculated from the date of shipment. Accessories such as remote controls, brackets, power supplies, power cords, and data cables shall provide 6 months of warranty service. The warranty period for each series of products is 1 year.

The series of products are as follows:

  • Single-lens camera: A6M-U, C9TS-U, C10QS-U, A2R-U, Q3R-U, Q7R-U, Q7T-U, Q8R-U, Q8T-U
  • Bulb camera: T2R-U, T2T-U
  • Dual-lens camera: W5-U, W3-U, W6-U, W8-U, W10-U, W10Z-U, W11-U
  • NVR video recorder: TC-734NVR-4D-AW-K, TC-734NVR-4D-AW-K (5MP)
  • Doorbell: L1-U, L2-U, L3-U, L4-U

② Products or parts that have been repaired or replaced within the scope of the warranty shall continue to enjoy the warranty during the remaining period. If the remaining warranty period is less than 3 months, it will be calculated as 3 months. If the law or contract provides otherwise, the provisions shall be implemented accordingly.

Note: Jooan products are not limited to the products described above. All products produced by Jooan enjoy the after-sales service they deserve. The warranty period is subject to the dealer's after-sales service; in principle, it cannot be lower than the time required by Jooan.

The warranty period is calculated from the date of the first purchase of the machine, subject to the invoice or contract date. If there is no valid certificate, the warranty period will be calculated from the production date of the product.


3. Warranty Service

① Hardware Products

(a) Maintenance
Product failures are resolved by maintenance. Where feasible, Jooan will try to diagnose and solve product failures through the Internet, telephone, or other remote help methods. If the above method cannot solve the problem, and the equipment is within the warranty period, we will repair it for you free of charge.

(b) Replacement
Within 1 year from the date of the first purchase, if the purchased product has a performance failure confirmed by the Jooan after-sales engineer as caused by the product itself, you can choose to exchange the product or repair it free of charge. If you choose to exchange, Jooan will replace the product or accessories of the same model and specifications free of charge. If the same model has been discontinued, it will provide replacement products or accessories not lower in performance.

When returning or exchanging, please include all accessories and packaging. The replaced product becomes the property of the customer, and the faulty product belongs to Jooan.

(c) Return
Within 30 days from the date of the first purchase, if the purchased product has a confirmed performance failure caused by the product itself, the customer may choose to return, exchange, or repair it free of charge.

② Software Products

If the software product is not activated within 30 days from delivery, it can be returned or exchanged. If the software product has been activated or is customized software, it cannot be returned or exchanged.

③ Virtual Service Products

Due to the characteristics of virtual services, once ordered, the service cannot be returned or exchanged. The service activation time is subject to the time recorded on the service platform.

④ Other

Unless otherwise specified, the items and packaging attached to the product should be returned together.

5. Precautions and Special Reminders

1. Warranty Commitment Conditions

The warranty applies only to the country or region purchased by the customer and cannot be transferred to another country or region (unless otherwise stated in the contract).

2. Provide After-Sales Service According to Law

This document grants the customer specific rights, and the customer may have other rights under the law. Nothing in this document excludes or limits consumer rights or reduces Jooan’s responsibility.

3. Keep the Invoice and Warranty Certificate

When purchasing a product, customers should obtain and keep the sales invoice (including product model). When applying for warranty, customers should present a clear, complete, and accurate sales invoice. If the invoice is inconsistent, modified, or unrecognizable, it is invalid. If no valid proof is provided, Jooan may use its internal system data to determine eligibility.

4. Information Backup Reminder

Jooan does not provide guarantees for data stored in its products. Customers are responsible for data backup to prevent loss.

5. Shipping Reminder

Before sending, please pack properly, ensure shockproof handling, and choose reliable shipping and insurance. Jooan is not responsible for losses during shipping and does not bear shipping costs.


6. Disclaimer of Warranty

Warranty does not cover the following situations:

  1. Exceeding the specified warranty period.
  2. Man-made or negligent damage, abnormal environments, or misuse.
  3. Accidents caused by force majeure (fire, flood, earthquake, lightning, etc.).
  4. Deterioration caused by social issues (riots, wars, strikes, government control, etc.).
  5. Service interruption due to energy supply failure.
  6. Failure caused by third-party products, software, or services.
  7. Normal wear, fading, or deterioration during use.
  8. Accessories or consumables (packaging, batteries, films, etc.) that wear out over time.
  9. Missing, altered, or mismatched serial number labels, or lack of valid proof of purchase.
  10. Failure to use the product according to the manual or in the intended environment.
  11. Product appearance or completeness issues not reported upon receipt.
